Volunteering
You don’t need to run to get involved at The Rabbit Run!
Our volunteers are essential in making sure that Rabbit Run is a huge success. Join us on the course to cheer on and direct runners and hand out water and snacks or come along to the event village to support the race collections team, help at the bag drop or give out medals at the finish line.

You don’t need any special skills, just be reliable, flexible and have lots of enthusiasm!
CHOOSE YOUR VOLUNTEER ROLE!
- Rehydrate runners and hand out snacks at a route feed station.
- Direct and cheer on participants as they tackle the twists and turns of the stunning Merthyr Mawr course.
- Support the registration and numbers collection team in the event village.
- Look after runners bags at the bag drop tent.
- Congratulate finishers and hand out medals and water at the finish line.
On event day, to thank our fantastic volunteers, you’ll receive an exclusive volunteer t-shirt, refreshments, support from an experienced event supervisor and our Volunteer Coordinator, as well having a front-row seat to the action. Free parking is also available to all volunteers. We’re proud to be a part of Tempo Time Credits. We invite all of our volunteers to sign up with Tempo to receive Time Credits that you can use to buy activities, services and products from a range of recognised partners.
If you are interested in volunteering at The Rabbit Run please email us at volunteers@run4wales.org and let us know when you can volunteer and what roles you’d be interested in doing.
Thank You. We look forward to welcoming you as part of The Rabbit Run event team.
